Winnipeg isn’t trading Pionk for Garland in any deal. Might be able to swing a deal centered around Heinola and a pick for Garland. That’s about it.

Good organizations don’t trade top four d men for wingers unless they have a surplus of d men. In Winnipeg’s case they r very thin on their right side after Pionk and DeMelo.
Winnipeg could trade a lefty d man for Garland, but that’s about it.

They shouldnt do it. Not because of value, but because of fit. Jets need a puck moving RD and Pionk is under a decent contract with term. Jets have Ehlers, KFC, Perfetti as wingers in their top 6 with some young kids banging on the door. Garland just isnt needed IMO
