We are currently projected to be 5th worst in the league by multiple models... its def possible sadly

However I do think if we get Fantilli we wont sign Bo

Is it bad that I’d almost rather draft Michkov at 2 and wait for him? If Michkov wasn’t signed until 2026 I could see him going 1st overall ahead of Bedard. But I also wouldn’t complain about Fantilli.

I just don't think that's wise with the window on KJ, Sillinger, Jiricek, Marchenko, etc. By the time he comes around, they will all be off their ELCs, and that's less advantageous. Plus, Laine, Z and Gaudreau will be further along their age curves, too.

But Michkov will be on an ELC, though it’ll only be 2 year instead of 3.
