This defeats the entire point of moving Bear. Carolina wanted to move him because they have 8 NHL defenseman right now including Chatfield, who wouldn't clear waivers and has been playing as the 3RD so far this season.

Kase isn't on LTIR, he's not even on IR. He's got concussion symptoms, not a concussion.

Pacioretty isn't on LTIR.

These line combinations are some garbage. Kotkaniemi is 2C. Jarvis top line. Stastny 3rd line, Svechnikov 2nd line. Teuvo other wing. Necas 2nd line. This is really bad all the way around.
