My quick evaluation on each of the habs that played tonight:
Caufield: very good, got lots of shots off, unfortunately none went in. WSH did a really good job at keeping him covered. A
Suzuki: looked a bit off today, but he was good enough. A
Xhekaj: he needs time in the AHL. he's made a few mistakes that I didn't like and he's not NHL ready yet. But still, congrats to him for his first point. C+
Anderson: he was good at getting the puck into the zone, but thats about it. B
Dach: very much liked what I saw from him, but he's not a shooter. Give him caufield on his line and other team beware (Caufield-Suzuki-Dach?). B+
Dadonov: looked a bit better getting the puck, but still wasn't great. Hope to see him scratched next game for Pezzetta. C
Drouin: looked okay. Not good, not bad, but I was happy from what I saw from him, as long as he keeps at least that up we could get something positive for him at the TDL. B-
Dvorak: played decent, I think a fairly average game. Didn't see much of him. B
Evans: love this guy. High energy, can play offense and defense, very responsible fourth line guy. Had some nice chances. B+
Gallagher: ENERGY IN ENERGY OUT JEEZ WHEN DID HE GET FAST. B+
Guhle: sound defensively, decent offensively. I think he played well. A-
Harris: another bright spot on the Habs young D, played very soundly and was great on 2v1s. A
Hoffman: i dont need to explain why he gets an F-
Kovacevic: great waiver pickup, he's looked solid with Harris. B+
Monahan: cannot believe it took a first to dump him, I think right now his value is +3rd round pick (half retained obviously). Done great so far with MTL. B+
Montembeault: fairly average, let to dry out a bit by the defense but made some decent saves. B-
Savard: the only proper veteran top 4 defenseman on the back-end has been solid. I think that he's a good influence on Guhle. B
Slafkovsky: not getting enough ice-time, but he's improved a little bit from last game. Still think he's gotta be sent to the AHL, even for a little while. C
Wideman: good presence on the back-end, was fairly average. B
