DeMelo is worth a lot more than that. He's Winnipeg's best defensive defenceman and compliments Morrissey on the top pairing wonderfully. I'd much rather hold onto him.

Isles can’t afford that Wheeler contract next year even if you retain 50%. I would offer Beau for Wheeler with retention but I wouldn’t advice you to say yes lol

Honestly, I'm not quite sure. I just don't think he's a guy that WPG would be looking to move. If an overpay came our way, obviously you have to consider it but I think Dillon/Schmidt would be moved first.

I’m an islanders and jets fan trust me he’s bad one of the worst defensive players in the league and only gets points because of his linemates

Getting Wheeler at 50% and 3rd and a 5th would (should) be a no brainer for the Islanders,
THe jets shouldnt do this...makes no sense for them to pay half and then get very little in return. THe guy might be overpaid but he's consistent offensively and can still be a game changer.
Jets would need to take a contract back to make it work, plus move those picks up a round or two

No it shouldn’t be Wheeler is easily one of the worst jets using both contract and skill wise not to mention he’s toxic in the locker room he bullied Laine out of Winnipeg I would do a Wheeler at 50% retainment for Bailey though
