It's gonna cost more than that to trade Reilly. Why would you trade Studnicka for a guy 3 years older than him? I agree with you, Frederic is gone in a year or two. Tampa won't trade Bellemare, he is way too important for their bottom 6. I doubt Minny would be interested in Nosek, their bottom 6 is already good and they are against the cap so they aren't gonna add useless money.

I don’t think that’s the case. When they waived reilly, it was a time when a TON of teams, like 12-15 were in the position of waiving guys in order to get complaint, put players on LTIR, and then call guys back up. This is what happened to boston. I can all but guarantee you that they were hoping Reilly would go unclaimed. He’s a good player, his contract is okay, i doubt he’s a dump.

I don’t see San Jose trading Lorentz at this point. They signed him to a cheap 2 year and they really like him so far. Studnicka is a very unproven prospect, hasn’t lived up to hype or expectations at all.
