Stammer at it again

Names has been ok and will be a solid bottom 6 guy this year. We didn't have a forward prospect absolutely ready to take the job.

I think Myers will come good once he get more familiar with the system. Goodrow was a questionable move at first.

Cole and Myers were brought in as cover for Foote and Sergy who both need to take a step this year. We've been living like kings these last two year now we have to deal with the realities that sometimes teams have growing pains.

As for moving Mac. Do you gamble on the young guy taking a step or gamble on the old guy not regressing and becoming and anchor that you cant move?

Yeah, because Myers and Foote have been atrocious, but then again, so has everyone on the team not named Stamkos or Vasilevskiy. They aren't even close to a contender with this play, but hey, if they want to throw the season away, then at least Killorn will be gone, maybe Foote, and if the cap does go up 4 million next year it could help bring some actual help in. And if the team really sucks this year, they'd at least get their 1st rd pick if in the top 10(wouldn't that be something if they landed one of those top 3 guys and then got back on track next season).

I think if the cap does go up 4M we would just use it to resign Colton and Foote instead of having to trade one of them

I mean, he's probably just as good of an option as Foote is for us. Little different in terms of strengths, but they're both realistically bottom pairing defensemen.
