Possible Players Avail at TDL

Description
Wild are projected to be a playoff team, so likely not doing a ton of selling, but if they find themselves in a fringe spot, I could see Guerin attempting a little shakeup.

In that event, my perception is that these players may be available.

Obviously this assumes the price would be reasonably fair value and not significantly higher or lower - i.e. someone like Middleton is clearly available for the right price, while Gaudreau may not be available for a total lowball.

I'd move Freddy G to the maybe available catagory. He seems to be the coach and GM guy.

I'd move Addison to the likely available category. I think they'll have him in the AHL and injury callup again this year. Sustr ends up as this year's Benn and plays half the season because he's a big vet.

Yeah good call - I was kinda thinking that too. Freddy being pending UFA was what tipped me over to the Likely, but I updated.

Why would they make Addison available? Has he not met expectations or something? I know he's 22 now and teams expect players to be more nhl ready at as younger age but I think it would be a mistake to trade him unless they are getting an upgrade in the same position or a position of need.

I think I could get behind Addison in the likely available category factoring in he would bring a good return, however, there would need to be a replacement for him or Dumba (or Dumba signs an extension 4.5 or less) for it to be a reality that Addison moves

He doesn't fit in the lineup and is waiver eligible after this season. He's a natural (less good) Spurgeon replacement, but Spurgeon is signed forever.

Really the lineup comes down to MN having Addison/Faber fighting for the 3RD spot next year. My money is on Faber due to him playing a more complete overall game.

I see Addison and Dumba as completely separate thing. If Dumba is gone next year they'll replace him with a big/physical 2-way RD, not a small pp specialist. Just like they used Benn last year instead of playing Addison.

Given their current cap situation under the assumption that they let Dumba go and trade Addison for something decent at the deadline or after the year (Assuming he doesn't blossom into an amazing player all the sudden) would you have their pairings something like this next year?
