Zero chance Winnipeg does that. They're not waiting 3 years for a first, taking back a cap dump or accepting a lowball return for 2 years of Dubois.

At this point of the season there would need to be a comparable young, top 6 center coming back for Winnipeg to consider anything.

Although apparently Sean reynolds has an interesting 1on1 interview with PLD coming out in which PLD talks about potential long term relationship with the jets. Probably all just posturing though.

I for one am beyond the point of caring about PLD to Montreal, this offer is fair for both sides but the incessant bickering with guys like Windjammer who thinks PLD starts with Suzuki + Caufield + 23 1st (Mtl) just makes me want to puke. If a deal gets done it will be for something similar if not the Montreal would sign him in FA if they still had interest. It makes 0 sense to go after PLD at this point and give up huge assets when we can wait and send him an OS after the 2023 draft.

I think people have moved from PLD to Montreal ACGMs and on to Jason Robertson to their favourite team.
