Hmm! those appear to be the lines and defensive pairings from last night game.
This will be an interesting season.
The Sabres seemed to let up in the second period, then in the third a couple of miscues.
Rees made two good plays to score, first he pressured Bryson into a turn over, then skated to the slot and was able to knock in his own rebound.
Sloppy play by Bryson, Tuch and Mittelstadt.
Bear made a great play to read the pass for Peterka.
If Bear does not intercept, Krebs would be racing alone with a break away.

maybe joki forced the hand of the coach for that top 4 role, i thought lyubu was signed to let power explore his offensive skill and have a big shutdown looking out after him and his possible mistakes, that being said a stacked blue line is a great problem to have

JJs turnover was bad, a hope pass in the middle of your own zone, with defenders there, ended in the back of our net. I think he's pressing & thinking too much. He'll start in Buff, but if he keeps playing like this, I think he goes back to ROC for a bit.

Let me start, I wish the Sabres would sign another forward so Bjork and Sheahan are not the first two players out of the press box when someone gets hurt.
Peterka played well but he needs more time in Rochester, to develop.
I was at that game and he made many very good plays, let us not remember his one poor decision that back fired because Bear made a great pinch.
Sure he made a pass that led to a turn over, but no one is talking about Bryson's weak play in the corner just seconds before Peterka's that led to a goal.
Let me close, part of the blame also lies with Krebs. He should have been aware of Bear and stepped in to prevent the interception.
Just as the first goal required three miscues, this one did as well. Peterka's pass intercepted, Krebs not aware of Bear, and Samuelson not blocking the shot.
Well that is my take, regardless of the pass, he should be in Rochester.
