I would respond to that with CLB signing Gudbranson (which brought them Gaudreau) who will not improve what they were all ready building and should have just kept Bjorkstrand and it the RD’s already in house (Boqvist, Peeke, Blankenburg, Jiricek but that’s me

This can’t be a real take. Third pair defensemen at best that are big, defend poorly in most systems, and can’t make a breakout pass to save their damn lives are really common. You can find most of them in Europe or the AHL

Yeah. I don't know anyone who picked them to make the playoffs. Everyone seems to have CGY and EDM top 2, and LAK and VAN battling for 3rd and 4th.

CBJ wasn’t physical enough last year hence the acquisition of Olivier and Gudbaranson

Andrew Peeke was 12th in hits by defensemen (191 hits) with Gudbranson 37th with (145 hits). And he is much much cheaper.

All good dude, agree to disagree on this one. Adding Gudbranson (even if it means getting Gaudreau) was a massive mistake.

But yes, as a team, CLB was near the bottom of the standings in hits. All long with Stanley Cup champs COL.

Hopefully nothing too serious but this SHOULD have been expected, he has played 20, 27, and 38 games his last three years. I’m pulling for him to have a bounce back year but acquiring another injury prone goalie was certainly a choice
