Sens led the league in preseason goals 😂. And with Comrie/Anderson could be a tough night. But I’m gonna say it’ll be a high scoring game and one of the Sabres rookies will score their first . That always seems to happen against the Sens

Only Peterka can score his first NHL goal to tonight, or Samuelsson. Quinn was a PPG last season and Power scored a couple last year.

30+ mil to stay in Philly is worth it for Sanheim lmao. And he’ll probably be traded to a contender in 2-4 years.

Not at all.
Philly was bottom 5 last year.
When we signed Gally, we beat Pittsburgh (best round Robin team) in the qualifiers, and we were the better team against Philly with youngsters coming up.

You just don't get it.
Last night. Montreal played way better than Toronto.
In every single category we were better.
Now, Toronto could've easily won. Because in every single category they were better, and they were close to winning.
If they would've won. We would've still said we outplayed them.
It's the same thing vs Philly

If you outplay the other team and lose, then you lost the goaltending battle (either got stonewalled completely, or your goalie let in soft ones). Price was not the worse goalie. So that means that you didn't play better. It's pretty simple really.

Allen still would've been crowned as the better goalie yesterday over Murray even if we lost.

Well if the losing team lost 2-1 and the losing team shot 15 times and the winning team shot 50 times then the losing team goalie won the battle

I have to support Dom on that one

MTL was the better team during the MTL-PHI matchup few years ago. Luck wasnt on our side.

I remember Dom from the Athletic and Moneypuck deserve-o-win meter giving MTL as the better team on all matchups except 1 or 2. And eye-test suggested that

Yeah but that’s because you lost the offense and defense battle lol. That’s my point, you can’t be better in every single area of the game and lose. There was something that was worse, by a significant enough margin to cause you to lose. The only things that are luck are like bad bounces off the glass that shoot into the middle and give an open net. Unless you give up two of those every game, then there was some area that you were worse at.
