One year from now, I could almost swear Bedard is in Chicago. Just because as an original six team they have the strongest hockey market out of all rebuilders.


I mean its anyone's guess who goes where anymore. McDadid, Matthews, Draisaltl, Marner, Horvat, other big names might stay or go depending on lots of different factors.

But its gonna be interesting to see what happens when JT retires. As Toronto will have 11mill freed up.

I’m going to pull a Dom here and say I predicted that trade. It was a bit different tho. I said it was a first for brown 50% retain which is pretty similar because that would mean a second without.

Anyways. He is a workhouse and is exactly what we need for ovi and kuzy line and overall team wise

Brown is a better/ equal to Nick Paul, better than Goodrow, and better/ equal to Coleman. He’s what every team needs and shouldn’t be traded unless it’s an overpay imo. Brown was probably going to ask to hit the market if he stayed in Ottawa past TDL, but he’s such an important piece for any team looking to win games.

I wouldn’t be shocked for a career year in WSH. Great add for that line as you pointed out to put with Ovi.

A buddy of mine took Burns goal + Laine goal + O4.5 for the game at something like +975. I just have Canes -2.5 in that one cuz Tarasov’s in net lol, plus Jenner shots because the line was 2.5, he averaged 2.7 last year, has Gaudreau now, and for some reason the over was paying like +130. I’ll take that without the Jarvis point and with Canes PL instead of ML for sh*ts n giggles though (+325)
