  1. Choix de 3e ronde en 2024 (MIN)
MIN
  1. Monahan, Sean (3 187 500 $ retained)
Détails additionnels:
Under the assumption that Monahan is healthy puts up a respectable season before the deadline (0.55 P/GP or around that).
2.
MTL
  1. Choix de 3e ronde en 2023 (OTT)
TOR
  1. Dadonov, Evgeni (2 500 000 $ retained)
Détails additionnels:
If Toronto accrues enough cap space, Dadonov should be a decent middle-six option. They already have good defensive forwards and while Dadonov can hold his own defensively, he can spark that middle-six scoring.

Drouin has to be healthy and half-decent prior to the deadline.

Those values might make sense in the summer
But at the TDL pending UFA's at 50% RS usually get multiple 2nd's or a 1st and a prospect.
Centers especially no matter how beat up or old get atleast a 2nd.

Plekanec had a career worst year but his faceoffs were still on point so we got a 2nd and two prospects we flipped for Kulak, Plekky retired after his contract was terminated the next season.
Hanzal got a 1st 2nd and 3rd while on Injury Reserve then showed up for a few games with his new team before going back on IR.
Center's in general are hard to find but ones that win 50% or higher at the TDL with atleast 16 teams buying becomes impossible.

Even Eric Staal more Recently was having a career worst year in what would become his final season
He was on his way to having his contract buried before the TDL but because here was only 5-6 Centers available that year Staal got a 2nd rounder and a 4th i think it was.
His Faceoff win rate was horrible to ontop of his declining play but that said it worked out as he rebounded in MTL really well actually.

Also Byron and Edmundston wont be back until Christmas
Repeat injury and last year that was their timeline for the same injury suffered earlier in the year then this time around.

It's been reported for about 3 years now that Minnesota has had no interest in Monahan so that seems pretty unlikely to me.

Taking a look at Sean Monahan's WAR comparables for the last three seasons, it's guys like Janmark, Heinen, Pearson, Rask and Chiasson. His days of being an impact player are gone unless he has a massive bounce-back season. Guys who produce at the same rate as Monahan has over the past few years were traded for pennies. If the buying team is simply interested in faceoff numbers, cheaper options than $3M Monahan are available all the time.
