First, adding Kane would be remarkable.
If the Sabres could reach 90 pts next year, I could see him signing a 2 year deal for $18,000,000 or a 3 year deal for $22,500,000.
Second, Let us hope Kyle retires a Sabre.
He moved his family here when he was traded after commuting the for the 9 years he was playing on the Island.
if Okposo can repeat last season, this year, or even at 75%, anything less than $3,000,000 would be an insult.
There are many players in the NHL earning more than $3,000,000 who do not have the credentials of Kyle.
Third, That is an awful trade for Buffalo.
Buffalo does not need another LHD and while Lowry is a tad better, Dallas may give us Faksa for free or even add a sweetener.
Losing Krebs and a second would be poor asset management.
Fourth, not seeing another Robertson trade was refreshing.
