apprently the first talks EDM had with AZ about Chychrun, AZ asked for Broberg back, which is why EDM pulled out.

you’d probably have to give them one of broberg or holloway.

I wouldn’t give up Broberg . They’re not gonna get a Broberg level prospect back

Edmonton won't offer half that package rightfully so.. chychrun is at best a second pair d that won't contribute to special teams so why pay an arm and a leg for minutes kulak broberg even niemelainen could handle?

JFresh said based on analytics , Chychrun is a good #2 or great #3 guy. I don’t think Arizona will get close to what they’re asking for.

Paying a price like see suggested on this site for chychrun it's like he's the second coming of Lindstrom... If paying a high end price would expect him to help in all situations I can't even see him being on the second pk unit... I think edmontons interest is just Holland doing what he's expected of and looking into all possible options which 99% of them never amount to anything. Holland shot down any broberg inclusion before highly doubt that has changed so any thoughts of any higher end prospect is clearly not happening. Honestly I can't think of a semi sensible trade that works for Edmonton regarding chychrun.

Chychrun is good on both ends. But he’s not a #1D nor can sustain what he did in the shortened season. He can play PK2 and PP2 if needed tho

JFresh also said that Edmonton should be willing to give up Broberg for Chychrun.

Ostapchuk

I'm just saying that if you want to use JFresh's analytics to support your argument, you should probably consider what he says on the exact topic being discussed:

I personally think JFresh is a blowhard and no one should listen to him ever.

I think he’s saying it in a way of Edmonton needs to go all in now at whatever cost to win for McDavid and Draisaitl. Not in a way that Broberg won’t ever be as good

But he is directly saying that Edmonton should not say no to trading Broberg for Chychrun.

Oilers top pp unit in most cases plays the entire time even if Barrie is moved to make the money work still have bouchard playing that role so the second unit is lucky to get 30 seconds to a minute per game. Pk 2 similar Nurse does the majority of Heavy lifting and kulak shown more than capable to take care of the left over time. Right now is rhe perfect time to be breaking in a guy like broberg only expectations is a Solid performance for 15 minutes or so a night no additional need on any special team. I personally wouldn't even entertain the idea because it's not needed and would require rather significant changes to the roster just to make fit under the cap going to end up hurting the team more than helping as a result. At least Barrie has proven more than capable to help on special teams and provides balance to the blueline with experience and being a right handed Shot. Given the chance I honestly doubt Holland would even agree to a 1 for 1 just based on how the roster is constructed.

No he's not. Spector is saying that Edmonton is out on talks because Arizona is insisting on Broberg and Edmonton said that's a non-starter.

JFresh said that Edmonton should not say no to a trade just because they want Broberg.

JFresh is not, nor does he pretend to be, a scout. Nor does he quantify stats from other leagues that would allow him to make a statistical argument for trading a prospect for a player. So quoting him about an NHL player does not preclude ignoring his comments on prospect value.

JFresh is a moron. Not quite sure if he pretending.

He's the one that builds his models, so if you're going to say that "JFresh says that this player is a #2/#3 defenseman" then you're inherently subscribing to his player values.

I'm all for someone saying that they don't agree with JFresh's on Chychrun OR Broberg, but don't quote his analytics as valid in one sentence then completely dismiss them in the next.

That's ridiculous. Just because I agree with one thing you say doesn't mean that I have to agree with everything you say. That attitude is the reason the world is becoming so polarized.
