Tell me what y'all think each of these rookie's first seasons will look like? Will they be Calder finalists? How many points/wins?

This is not a complete list of all the good rookies, just the ones I wanted feedback on

Pelletier is probably AHL bound. Only way he plays is if Milano doesn't get a contract. Or injuries occur

High hopes for Holtz. Playing first line next to Hughes and Palat. Should be up there in the Calder race
I hope Zetterlund gets a spot on the roster. He looked great to end last year

I like McTavish but that is super optimistic, not impossible though.

If Holtz sticks to the line with Palat and Hughes, he could easily be a top 5 Calder guy. Even if he isn't a top 5 player on this list, just the Hughes Effect could put him there.

Zetterlund could maybe be like a 40pt physical depth guy if he really hits his stride. Which would be a huge asset for the Devils, but I can't see him getting into the Calder conversation. I would assume most betting sites won't even have him as an option.

Ok I might exaggerate a bit but some recognition would be great

Somewhere in the top 9. I doubt we will have consistent lines throughout the entire season

That's criminal, he's got nothing left to prove in the A. Lets just say he plays half the season (41 games) on the 3rd line, how do you envision him doing?

Optimistic. I love Pinto as a prospect and think his ceiling is very high as an all-around centerman.

Bold but I like it. McTavish plays the game the right way.

Zetterlund low key is ready to burst onto the NHL scene just like Bratt did last year.

20 goals for any rookie is a lot to ask. He just got to the 20 mark once in the KHL, and that was last year. Regardless, I do think he will make the transition to NA well and be a good forward for y'all.

Zetterlund can do some damage for sure if given the opportunity. Hopefully he gets a good chance this season.

Agreed. Underrated prospect ever since his draft year. How he wasn't taken in the 1st round baffles me

It was normal that he was under the radar pre-draft as he is a guy who only started taking hockey seriously at 15 y/o. I think he was into baseball or soccer before that

Sens fans were not necessarily happy with the pick but as it happened many times before, we got proven wrong by the Sens drafting department, they're just pretty good at finding these gems

Are some of the same scouts or analytic guys with the Sens from back when they got guys like Stone and Hoffman in the 6th and 5th rounds respectively?

Several scouts have been hired by Bryan Murray in 2007 or 2008.

Trent Mann was hired by Murray in 2011

Bryan Murray is the real hero in Ottawa. Look at their draft history since 2008

Too bad ownership has ruined everything (until now)
