QUESTIONS: Fabbri? Effective when healthy, just has no knees. If/when he comes back, who is the odd man out? Does Veleno start in GR on a line with Sodes and Berggren since he is waiver exempt? That also would give Erne/Smith a chance to earn a spot, or increase any value they might have as depth pieces on a contender. Is there a move made for Bert?
TDL candidates: Bert, Kubalik, Suter, Sunny, Fabbri, Erne, Smith
QUESTIONS: Does Simon make the team? Does Johansson get the first shot with the Wings? 5 LHD younger players all competing for the 6/7 D spot against 3 older LHD, does someone get moved?
TDL candidates: Maata, Hronek, Oesterle, Pysyk (dependent on recovery), Hagg
Yeah I did catch it. Happy they had Edvinsson playing with Gus and hope they develop some chemistry. He looked nervous and hesitated on his decision making (understandable), but you can definitely see the potential.
Viro is growing on me as well. SY is going to have some decisions to make in the next several years with all the LHD.

I'm really hoping they let Ed play in Grand Rapids this year. I think Lindstrom needs a vet to play with him.

Edvinsson, Johansson, Viro, Sebrango, McIsaac all on GR left side which could be Detroit’s future. Griffins games will be fun.
Mix in Buium and Wallinder in Grand Rapids most likely next year, with hopefully Ed and one other prospect jumping to Detroit with these two taking their place.
Lindstrom is such a great fit for Detroit. Could have a very long career knowing his niche.

Buium and Viro are very underrated picks, I think they will both do well.
Söderblom himself says he's better on the left side than on the right so I'd have him above Hirose on that side. Hägg is a better defender than Oesterle is so unless one of the kids gets the nod he will likely be the 3LD and Oesterle #7.
The only question mark is really whether either johansson or Edvinsson gets a spot or not. In case the coaches think the team needs a PP-QB it'll be Edvinsson, if they think a PK-guy is more important then it goes to Johansson.

Honestly I hope they give them both more time to ripen, let Grand Rapids be competitive this year.
It was a pretty hard shot that hit him behind his ear. Those incidents can be really bad, there was a russian kid that died from a shot like that only last year. Swelling of the brain isn't a trivial thing if that happens. We haven't heard anything yet how bad it is but it looked bad on the ice, Hägg tried to skate off the ice but fell down obviously very groggy and had to be helped off.
