Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Line Explanations:
1st - Caufield/Suzuki are a set duo but they need a winger, with Caufield being on the left side for each scrimmage so far its safe to assume they will need a RW to pair with them. Now, Dach is a perfect fit IMO for a couple reasons 1. he's a big body and has been putting his hands on display the last couple days 2. We have a lot of options at center right now, no need to have added pressure of winning draws when we have Monahan/Evans who can anchor the 3rd C spot for now, around the TDL I do believe MTL will be looking to trade Monahan if he has a bounce back year (obviously at 50% retained)

2nd - its my take of the old Tatar - Danault - Gally Line we had - Dadanov is looking to bounce back after a bad stint in vegas, paired along side Dvorak and Gally this could be a good shut down line with possible offensive upside. Dadanov could be out by the TDL but for now this is who i see him playing with.

3rd - Basically going to act as a energy line (hopefully) Anderson and Drouin had chemistry at the start of last season and their best asset will be counter attack hockey, outlet passes by Drouin or Monahan to a streaking Anderson will be how this line scores 80% of their goals

4th - Pitlick was a tough guy to place, IMO he could work on any of these lines cause he plays so well, putting him with Evans and Armia will hopefully generate a nice balance of defensive ability along with checking and some limited offensive ability, the line is also very interchangable with Pezzetta and Byron as both players bring similar styles of play compared to Armia for Pezzetta and Pitlick for Byron


Edited D lines to Reflect Eddy missing time

1st Pair - Matheson and Savard is my thrift store PK/Markov pairing, 1 slightly more offensive D with a nice stay at home D

2nd Pair - Eddy working with a very young and solid Harris will only help this teams future, Eddy will be a stability force Harris needs while learning to play the RH side full time as a lefty. (Once Eddy is Back)

3rd Pair - Guhle looks good, he could be the best LHD we have by the years end but for now if he can play a shutdown style of play it will allow wideman to move up the ice with the puck more often knowing Guhle is going to be disciplined on the Defensive side.

New 3rd Pair - Xhekaj has been solid and paired with harris while Eddy is on the mend will allow both to gain solid experience.

Goalies - The only talking point here is Monty over Primeau and the answer is pretty easy, Let Primeau have a good year as Lavals starter again and if Monty is real bad still by the TDL then maybe think about letting Primeau have the final couple months as a backuo to Allen
