I know NJ wants a 1st, but it’s too early for the jets to give up a 1st considering the year they just had. Instead, the jets could give up Brendan Dillon. If chiarot can net a 1st, so can Dillon at the tdl. So if NJ is not in a playoff spot, then they can still get a 1st. Maybe even from the same team in the Panthers. To close the deal, the jets add chisholm, a solid, nhl ready guy who looks like a potential top 4 guy, and a 2nd.

As a result of the move for Severson, Demelo now goes. A team like the leafs probably have interest. However, the leafs have cap issues. Hence the jets add in a 3rd team. Edm needs to shed about 500 K and the jets would love JP. Kerfoot m-ntc probably prevents the jets from getting him.
