It didn't work last time and if hes signing a short term lower contract than he wants, he isn't doing it in a year where he's also switching sides meaning his play will likely be worse for at least half the year driving down his next contract. He's staying on the left side. Gio did say he'd be willing to move to the right so if Sandin does resign they will likely move Gio to the right and pair him with Sandin on the left.
