Intentionally so. I don't think that Arizona trades Chychrun without a massive premium that most teams can't pay, but one that Los Angeles can.

That’s funny that you think Los Angeles is stupid to offer Arizona that major package. If that’s what Los Angeles would pay for him, we would already have him. If all of our Defenseman have the “potential season” they’re supposed to have, we might not even need him. Remember we took Oilers to game 7 without Doughty, Walker and Arvidsson. Now we have Fiala as well.

The only way we’d get Chychrun is during deadline and the most we’d offer is Turcotte + Walker + 1st. Take it or leave it offer. We’re no dying to have Chychrun. We can have alternative options for a much less steeper price.

Nope, at this point the most I would pay for Chychrun is a 1st and Turcotte. Any more than that is an overpayment.

Probably what Arizona would consider fair value is something like Turcotte, Bjornfot, and a 1st. The extras written in were for cap balancing and/or draft pick sweeteners.

You can throw in Durzi if you want, but then you have to downgrade the other prospect from Turcotte to Madden.

Normally, I'd agree with you 100%, but the rumor that Alex just failed his pre-camp physical might make Arizona loath to take him, so this offer might be unrealistic. We might have to offer some package like Fa-gem-o or Helenius plus Madden or Pinelli plus Walker plus our 2024 first.
