lol..... take out Dube and include Weegar, and maybe. This doesn't bode well for keeping Weegar long term, anyway. But DAL most likely hangs up the phone at this offer

No thanks from NSH. McCarron is fine for what he provides - a healthy scratch for the most part, who won't embarrass himself on the 4th line when they need to dress a face puncher. No interest in either player from CGY either. As insignificant as this deal is, NSH is still giving up the two best pieces.

Hello Friend! Well thought out Trades as far as Trade Value is concerned, but Huberdeau and Weegar will cost $7.85mil+ more next season, so unless at least 2 of Toffoli, Backlund, Hanifin, Tanev or Zadorov are moved in the off-season, CGY wouldn't be able to afford it

As much as I doubt DAL would move Robertson, if they did, Mangiapane would likely have to be apart of the Trade Package:

1st Round Pick + Mang + Dube + Zary might be more appropriate

I also see Robertson wanting something more in line with what Matthew Tkachuk just received = $9.5mil/yr

Valimaki for Bastian might work. We won't get additional compensation for the simple fact, Bastian was in the NHL last season and performed as well as a 4th liner is expected and Valimaki is/was not. Valimaki still has value similar value to Bastian as far as I'm concerned, but I'm sure a lot of people would debate me on that

Who cares whether it's DET or any other Team, sending a 2nd and getting a 5/6/7th back is a fair & reasonable offer to dump Lucic if/when need be

Who knows what Matthew Phillips value is, but if it's not much, we might as well keep him. NAS should be happy with Walker Duehr alone for McCarron, given Duehr's a Younger Waivers Exempt RFA, but if we had to add, let them have Brett Ritchie too. I think McCarron and CGY Prospect Adam Klapka deserve a shot at 4RW over Ritchie & Duehr from what I've seen up to this point

As Always, Thanks for the Proposal and Discussion!

Obviously, Robertson is a good fit on a team that needs an elite RW. However, I don't think Dallas would trade him in conference. I would also be hesitant to give up Cornato in this trade. He's 1 year from being NHL ready, and is projecting as a top RW. Without the cap rising until 2024-25, Robertson's money is going to mean Calgary loses depth elsewhere. Lucic's AAV is effectively eaten up by Huberdeau's new contract. Having Cornato on a 3 year ELC would be perfect to keep Calgary in a cap friendly situation until the cap rises 3 years from now. If he decides to pull an Adam Fox, then by all means trade him for an elite RW.
