Saw this trade elsewhere.

Don't like trading Pulju, should be trading Foegele even with a pick to free up space instead imo. But I think filling out more of the roster like this would suit Holland's eye more. And ultimately, it still looks pretty good, have to move Hyman and Foegele to RW, but they are both capable there. And the bottom 6 is pretty strong with McLeod and Bastian in there, and Ryan ready to step in if any injuries/underwhelming play happens.

Great option too if Holloway can show some chemistry with Drai. Lots of good combos with this bunch I think.

If this package was good enough to land him it would've happened already. Could be that they're waiting for camp to give the super buddies one last shot at breaking out, but this trade is so stupidly good for the Devils that I can only assume it's off the table. Oilers probably want picks or a lateral trade.

Oilers should definitely do this Trade. If they can get more out of NJD, especially as insurance in case something negatively affects Michael McLeod due the Hockey Canada Investigation, that'd be optimal

Been proposing this one since early summer and my understanding from NJ fans is that they'd generally be willing to add a pick (a 2nd or 3rd, depending on which you ask).
