They are both in their 20s and all parties involved in the Lindholm trade knew he was getting an extension after the trade was made.

Still, really brutal comparison. The extension had to be at a UFA rate taking the guy to age 36. Chychrun is locked up on a bargain second contract taking him through the prime of his career.

I’d say Seth Jones. 2 1sts and 2nd that was 44th overall and Boqvist. Even that is a little light. Especially when considering Chychrun has term and is cheap. They don’t have to move him.

Zona turned down 1st/Lysell/Zboril or Achan/2nd from Boston. Boston then went after Hampus. So there is a starting reference of what needs to be beat.

Nobody is paying a Seth Jones-like return on Chychrun.

Chychrun -- Dan Boyle maybe (?) for a player with term...maybe a bit more returning since Boyle was on a higher AAV.

Weegar -- I think Lindholm is fine comp for Weegar. Could also do a Schenn-JVR / Hall-Larsson type of deal since they are competitive team.
