It seems like the Islanders have no interest in trading Varlamov. A trade like this would have to happen at the deadline if they're out of contention, and in that case, they would probably want picks/prospects in return.

Muzzin was back to his old self in the playoffs and is far from a cap dump. He isn't going anywhere with his NTC anyways. I believe he will sign a team friendly contract in 2 yrs with the leafs anyways.

When Varly comes off the books the isles will save about five million dollars. Muzzin is not only more expensive than Varly, but he has another year and he’s injury prone.

For that reason alone Muzzin has no value. Like I said previously, the isles say **** no.
