Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Jersey gets a young left D with a ton of potential in Sandin. They get a star winger in Nylander (they were rumoured to have gone hard after Thachuk). They also get a 2nd round pick.
Leafs get a top 4 right D (extended). A young centre/winger player in Mercer who has a ton of upside. And they get another top 9 forward who came off a good year.

New Jersey would still have Hamilton, Marino, Nemec on the right. Adding Sandin to the Left makes their dcorp more well rounded and he would be a great piece long term. Nylander makes New Jerseys offence quite lethal as well.
Leafs get a right d upgrade and they get some good young pieces on forward.

Thoughts? Does the 2nd round pick need to be a 1st to make this happen?

Decent looking Team and Trade idea. Yes, it might need to be TOR's 1st and don't forget NJD already has Kevin Bahl, Nikita Okhotiuk and Luke Hughes waiting in the shadows, so may be more interested in Robertson, Knies or Minten + another pick instead of Sandin

Is Robertson ready for the Big Show this year? If not, TOR'd have lots of depth between Sharangovich, Jarnkrok and Kerfoot if not and should still sign Aston-Reese for Bottom-6 Depth

I always viewed Lindholm as a top pairing dman and Serverson as a top 4 dman. We will see what he gets in the end!

I feel like Mercer is very untouchable for the Devils. They also wouldn’t want to pay a premium for someone that can walk in 2 years. Devils also wouldn’t have interest in Sandin, we have way to many D prospects ready to break through. I do think NJ would be interested in Nylander but would avoid moving their young high end guys.. Maybe Severson,with Gritsyuk and a 3rd? I just don’t see the team looking to ship off players that can be considered part of the core in a year
