-Sorokin is one of the most valuable goalies in the league. A 2024 1st, a prospect, a middle-6 forward, and a lesser goalie aren't going to be enough to pry him out of New York.

-Oleksiak has a full NTC, so you have to get past that; I also can't see Seattle even asking him to waive if all you're going to offer them is a cap dump, a bottom pair D you waited until Labor Day to sign, and a 2nd rounder - and then asking them to retain 3x$1.2M on top of that? Sheesh!
