marchand ahead of panarin and ovi, panarin's advanced analytics aren't as good as people think and the rag relied pretty heavily on PP.

Why is it that Panarin over Marchand is such a popular opinion? Panarin has so many secondary assists, he’s soft, and he barely shoots the puck. Marchand is a much more complete player and even though Panarin had many more points (and better points per game), Marchand still probably has the better offensive game too

50 goals 90 points seasons means he has 40 helpers still and is among the most dominant physical players in the leaque. Not a 1 trick pony.
I think Huberdeau deserves to fall due to his extremely lackluster Playoff performance. He was abysmal, as was Florida as a whole.
Gaudreau is the toughest one for me to rank. He had an amazing year and was one of the best players in the league, but he's been disappointing for a lot of year before that.
Connor is very underrated too. He's the best player on his team and consistently produces great numbers. Robertson deserves a spot as well.

Couldn't agree more. 50 goals, 40 assists, 90 points, 150+ hits -> really not a one trick pony...
He had the most assists in his career since 2010. Most points since 2009.
