Overall, I am feeling pretty good about the team, don't think it's perfect, but better than last year. I'd like to see us either get another top 6 forward or more bottom 6 depth by trade deadline. Lots of big questions. Will Kapanen bounce back? Will Carter play well at 3rd line all year? How will the new players/Wiles Barre guys do? IMO if a few of these things go right we can make a run. I don't know if we can keep up with some of the fastest teams, which is a concern for me, but I am convinced we can make a good run. One thing I feel very good about is our D, I think it will be a massive improvement over last years D. Petrey is elite with the right systems, Ty Smith I think will be a stud, and Rutta is a great 3rd pairing guy. The depth is insane. I think it's a do or die year though, there has to be sweeping changes if we don't make it past the first round again, I think. If we do and go on a nice run, I would use the cap space in offseason to make some upgrades (a little faster more grit), but can keep a similar team.
