He’s a borderline 3rd liner at best. He has 28 points in 101 games the last 2 seasons. He’s worth nowhere near worth 3.4M. Probably around 1.5-2 max

he had covid and was with his wife a the end of the season for a kid to be born. the 28 points do not offer the quality of the player itself ... here in mtl both Byron and Armia got 3.4 and Lehkonen before the trade with Colorado would have fetch the same contract if Bergevin was still there... the 2 way game of those 3 players are over the average hockey player.

he is scratched because in this AGM I play Slafkovsky 9 pro games with Habs and then Kravtsov goes on the top line !! But if you check many other one I have Armia playing on the fourth line because we have a huge depth!

He played one season on the 4th line because we have too many RW's, and yeah he didn't score very much but nobody did on the Habs. The context is important.

At best he’s an average 3rd liner. More like a below average 3rd liner. Best suited to a 4th line role. He is worth nowhere near his contract. The Habs would have to pay to get rid of his contract

He displays a lot of skill and has good two-way capabilities. I can guarantee any team he plays on IF that team is good, he is a secret weapon for PKs and 5v5.

I don’t mind Armia, but I do mind his Cap Hit. At this price, Armia would need to be 50% retained otherwise CGY wouldn’t be interested
