Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Canucks need a quality RHD and
a 3rd line centre who can win face offs and
a player with size and grit who can score goals and
something for the future.
The Devils get Miller's points, physicality and leadership.
Dickinson is a player who had a bad year - not a bad player.
Hoglander has youth, lots of skill and potential but isn't overly physical.

3 Devils 47 G- 74 A - 121 pts last season

I believe that the improved Pettersson, Podkolzin and the additions of Kuzmenko, Mikheyev and Rathbone will more than make up for the 7 points difference.
The addition of Severson, Lazar and Martin should help on the defensive side of things.
Both teams have to take a chance that the major players in the deal will re-sign.

This would have to be a TDL trade. I like the Devils and think they're building a scary squad over there, but I think if I'm their GM, I wait to see if this team as currently constructed can actually contend before upgrading. Severson *is* pretty expendable with Hamilton/Marino on board now, sure, but I want to see how that Vanecek/Blackwood tandem fares in goal before I trade him in a hockey deal instead of for future assets.

Again, Devils should have no interest in any deal for a guy needing a 30yr old+ contract extension involving a 1st. Makes no sense to their window.
