In this year, Kreider drops down to play 3rd line minutes and Bobby Trivago finally gets his time to shine. They swap places if it doesn't work.
Ultimately... does Kane work long term? I don't know. I've taken some pretty serious liberties here, and it's contingent on losing Kakko or Lindgren for really nothing later on. I also really hate making teams with under 22 roster spots, but there was just no way here. Unless Goodrow was in the original trade to CHI and Chytil signs for less than 3.6million on his next deal... but, is that realistic? Probably not, as he'd likely take 3million, and that doesn't really open anything up better. Acquiring Kane and trying to keep him long term would probably mean some early exits for Kreider or Goodrow (in addition to the original trade) and I'm not sure it's worth it. Regardless, it was a fun little experiment. Lemme know what you would change
