Nylander is an 80+ point guy. We're better off finding a 2 way player to play on that line to cover up his defensive play than to spend all these assets on a rental...........

Nylander is definitely not a 80+ point guy he's only had 1 season where he's come close to that. The guy has zero drive in his game there is no way a team with gim on there roster will ever win a cup.

I'm not saying he's the perfect player, he's a defensive liability for sure. But he IS an 80 pt plus guy. His offensive skill is outstanding. You can put him in the same boat at Laine. He might even be better. Same with Pettersson in VAN. And he's only 26 years old. I get the hate on for him, but you cannot doubt the offensive talent. Marchand didn't start putting up decent points until he was 29. Bergeron has never been an 80 point guy, But they play a complete game so they get more respect. Ovie didn't win a cup until well in his 30's because he was the same type of player when it came to defense. Sure he hit, but most of those hits resulted in odd man rushes. Then Trotz came along and made him change his game. WN will never be a big phyusical guy, but man he'll put up points.
