These are probably three of the favorites to make a long playoff run in 2022-23, but each are losing some big pieces.

Maybe replace Carolina (lost: Trocheck/DeAngelo/Niederreiter but gained Pacioretty/Burns) with Florida (lost: Huberdeau, Weegar, Marchment, and Chiarot; but gained Tkachuk).

Avs should have Kuemper-Kadri listed as their biggest 2 losses. Burakovsky wasn't as much of a factor as he got demoted regularly to 3rd line duty and even healthy scratches once we obtained Lehkonen.

Tough to argue who the 3rd most drop in talent from contenders was between Tampa (Palat/McDonagh/Rutta) and the Wild who lost Fiala/Talbot and the Blues who lost Perron/Husso. Maple Leafs might still push that group if/when they lose Kerfoot in addition to Campbell.
