I’m taking into account regular season and playoff success plus skill both offensively and defensively.

1. Sidney Crosby (the most skilled grinder in history, elite playmaker, plays 200ft)
2. Nathan MacKinnon (he’s only in the number 2 spot bc he finally won his cup, let’s be real)
3. Connor McDavid (this list isn’t fair to him, he’s probably the most skilled hockey player of all time…but he’s never won the cup)
4. Alexander Barkov (elite defensively and is way better offensively than Bergeron)
5. Steven Stamkos (how does he keep doing it? He’s gotta be like 36 by now but he’s still leading the lightning to playoff success)
6. Austin Matthews (I enjoy watching the leafies lose in the first round every year but they’ll eventually win something right?)
7. Leon Draisaitl “Connor McDavids sidekick”…(tosses grenade and waits for it to explode)
8. Mika zibenejad (I despise his playing style so he’s def annoying to play against)
9. Brayden Point (now just rapid fire)
10. Sebastian Aho

I’m not exactly sure what your main criteria is for this list but Kopitar and Toews come to mind if this is like an overall list for current players.

The top 7 is messed up and O’Reilly is too high.

Maybe recently bias but basically every 30 goal scoring center plus more guys. Better scorers. Malkin. Robert Thomas. Roope Hintz. He’s not that overrated on this list but his offensive game just isn’t top tier at all or even that close.

I mean I’m as big a malkin fan as anyone but when he’s only healthy for partial seasons and doesn’t play D and doesn’t produce much at even strength….. I found it hard to put him a lot higher
