    About Colorado, they need a 2C - 3C because they lost Kadri, and Dvorack haved a underated season last year.

    I'm not trying to be a hater, but I don't understand the overall net effect of these moves.

    -MTL is going into a rebuild, so it doesn't makes sense to move top picks to send out bad contracts.
    -You're not getting a 1st Allen. MTL fans tend to think everything they have is worth a first. If that was the case you guys would have a really good team. A 2nd is most likely and perfectly acceptable.
    -You guys should be looking towards Bedard, so keep the bad players/contracts and tank unless you find a sucker for guys like Hoffman and Armia lol

    Yeah, I don't get it. They can keep Hoffman until the 23/24 deadline where they can probably get at least something for him. Armia is just someone they should just ride out.

    Plus they don't really need to shed money since they'll get all that LTIR from Price.

    Colorado would probably accept this imo. It's a reasonable enough price to upgrade from Compher to Dvorak.

    Personally, I can saw that trade after the 2023 season.

    But if Montreal draft Bedard, they will try to be competitive.

    They don't have room on the roster for him and a bunch of young players fighting for a spot. Detroit is not a home for Dadonov or I'm sure they would have v acquired him already. Also we don't need the retention.

    Detroit isn't going to pay for a rental. Even if Detroit should squeeze into the playoffs this year they're nowhere near contending and this would just be a waste of a good pick.
