Karlsson had a great year here in Sweden and him coupled with that 1st rd pick (preferably in 2023 tho) would be a perfectly acceptable return for Severson come TDL provided the Devils are out of the running for the playoffs.

Also, I cannot in one million years see any GM other than Chuck Fletcher giving up anything close to a 2nd rd pick for Myers at this point.

Also, Dumba's a way better RHD than Myers is.

And it's so strange how just because Myers has a couple of non-terrible months under BBQ Bruce a good number of Canucks fans conveniently ignore 2.5 years worth of some of the worst impacts league wide.

Rathbone is a LHD (which we don't have a need for) who was drafted 5yrs ago and has 17 games under his belt. Klimovich has some skill but is still far from a lock as a top 6 winger. Dermott is another LHD that Boston has no need for. He's not and upgrade over anything we have.

As for the Bruins goaltending situation next year, they have Ullmark under contract and Swayman will be an RFA. DiPietro isn't an upgrade on either guy.

In my opinion Don has the same mindset of McAvoy and Carlo being the cornerstone players of our D for the future.

Boston is not trading Carlo. If they did it would be for Elias, JT, or Horvat. Not a pile of spare parts.

Nobody is paying a 2nd for Myers without retention this season. Once his signing bonus is paid next year he'd be much easier to move
