Ya its just a joke. If Avs were to trade Girard, Guhle would have to be included.
Term and cap hit are too much for what his realistic deployment would be. That 4.5m is better used towards extending core guys like Mack, Byram and Newhook. If Avs move Girard it will be for more than a 3c with a similar cap hit.

My bad, thinking about 22-23 mainly. I think JTC at 3.5 will be too expensive next year. Meyers is projected to be the 3c that season at a cheaper cap hit. Its going to be a crunch. Cap would have to go back to fit Dvorak this year.
