I just don't get why Price with one year left his contract would be so desirable to Jets for those packages which include cheap young studs.

Agree, Flyers don't do this as Price doesn't put them over the top. They would need Price and Provorov and another sniper to b a cup contender

It's not even the Flyers getting Price lol it's a 3-way trade and Winnipeg gets Price.

And why would Winnipeg give up Ehlers+Trouba+Hellebuych for 1 year of Price and Scherbak? There's no way Price is signing long term with Winnipeg and even if he did you're looking at least $9 million to $10 million per long term for Carey Price Winnipeg gets screwed big time here and you already have Weber and Petry on the rightside unless Petry and his NMC are moved Trouba makes zero sense and besides Trouba doesn't want too play in Canada.
