Considering Chiarot and Savard both went for 1st's in consecutive trade deadlines the floor should start at that for Mayfield. Isles do not/should not need to move him right now anyways to shed cap

Yeah listen to the JuiceMan and pump the breaks, things are looking good but winning the pacific (as doubtful as that even is) is not much to write home about. Easily the weakest division in the league.
I just don’t see enough goals in this lineup. And no reason to think there will be major uptick in performance.
You were middle to bottom in most offensive metrics; even just looking from Jan 1 (to avoid the first half sloppy mess) to end of season, Canuckles we’re:
16th in gf
17th in xgf
25th in hdcf
17th in wins


All while placing 8th (PDO) which is prob unsustainable. as you guys probably know Demko bailed you out a ton but he will come back to earth. So bubble team, at best

If Mayfield is on your top pair you would need 6 McDavids to be a 110 pt team and I like Mayfield.

He’d be Quinn Hughes partner 5v5 but he would probably be 4th or 5th on ice time for defenseman on the team. Hughes, OEL, severson all play more for sure and probably Myers as well.

Hughes doesn’t need a very high end partner. Just a defensively reliable guy who will hang back if Hughes joins the rush or Carries the puck down the wall
