I think it’s fine for Calgary that they lose value at positions of strength, so they can keep some of their better future assets. I’d maybe substitute a first with a prospect but I don’t exactly know their values. And Calgary is a win now team so getting a few pieces like Appleton, Stanley, and Harkins back makes them better.

He’d be a 2c behind Lindholm most likely in Calgary.

What is the actual point in arguing a forward’s defensive game when he puts up a point per game. Yeah for sure no team would ever want Scheifele because of his defensive game. It could be a negative to his game but it can’t outweigh how many points he puts up.
