If Vlasic is good enough to take the spot from Stillman then he can be traded at the deadline for a 3rd.

If you buy out Goodrow, you get 200,000 of ADDITIONAL cap space, on top of his AAV. It's like his contract was designed to be bought out. There's no reason to pay to get rid of his deal, especially not this much.
