I said combined not individual players OEL average offensively bad defensively Myers is the exact opposite as him and Dermott is well whatever and Poolman is just a classic Jim Benning signing
Again, you're smoking something. OEL and Myers aren't bad defensively, and OEL is still very good offensively. He'll be playing in a system that allows him to provide more offense next season. Dermott and Poolman are both solid. Not sure what the hell you mean by a "Jim Benning signing" cause he signed Thatcher Demko , Quinn Hughes, and Conor Garland all to their respective contracts
bouchard had one less even strength point then hughes. they both aren't good defensively and I'm an oiler fan. young offensive defenseman take time to figure out their own zone, and that's completely fine.

Nope, you're still way out in left field. You didn't watch Hughes closely enough last season

search up his war percentile and I guess you'll see. bit more accurate then watching games, each to their own I guess.. His defense against the rush is haunting him, and has since he started with the canucks.

Okay, are you looking at his numbers over the course of his entire career or just last season? Cause obviously his numbers last season exclusively are going to look better from him bouncing back, and I believe it's a sign of things to come

Yes from last year. I'm not saying his defensive game is forever gonna be bad, nor will bouchards, but he has a very difficult time defending on the rush, this obviously isn't all his own problems and his line mates play a big factor in this but I definitely wouldn't say hes "good" defensive

Hughes didn't have difficulty defending the rush, I saw as much last season
