Looking at a 3 year plan with keeping Chytil and staying in-house.
For this year, the only signing left is Motte. I think if Motte wanted to go anywhere else, he'd be signed already. Hopefully after the Kakko signing, NYR turn their attention toward him and get him to a multi-year deal. Unfortunately, unless some other move is made, or Motte is not signed, then NYR can only run a 22 man roster. Probably not the end of the world, considering what other teams like TOR have done in the past.
I really have no faith or confidence in Kravstov staying with the team long term. Maybe an injury gets him some games in. Staying in-house and what not, there is no money to re-sign Blais for next year. If Kakko shows any signs of struggling, or there is an injury, I can see some combination of Blais/Jones/Lundkvist/Kravstov being traded for a top 6 winger/3rd pairing LD rental(s). If not, then perhaps they stand pat. This is a solid roster regardless, assuming all the young-ins continue to progress the way they should.
