If they did this to get three years of Kadri I could live with it just cause they added Hague. Otherwise it’s a hard pass for me. I don’t have an issue with bailey being on the roster next year anyway.

I think Hague takes 2.75 to sign. If he would take that low Vegas would have signed him already.

I think Reimer is a much better choice for the backup than Brossoit, good pickup there.

Seattle doesn't have the cap space for Bailey, but Anaheim would take that deal.

What else is going to San Jose exactly? Can’t see that being close, the sharks reported ask for Reimer is a 2nd. Bellows certainly isn’t worth that.

If Reimer is that cheap that's the way Vegas goes. Keep Hague and their 2 3rds.

Don’t think SJ does that, no room for Bellows

I would argue Bellows is worth about/more than a second. Yes, he is 24 and only put up 19 points in 45 games last season but I think he has some really good potential and could be a very efficient middle-6 guy. He still has a good shot and skates pretty well. He is also surprisingly very physical. 103 Hits in 45 games. And Trotz's system has made him more defensively responsible. He's also been given wacky opportunities. In many games last season Trotz had him playing RW, Bellows is an LW/C. He was also in and out of the line-up and to start the season the Islanders were also just a straight-up mess.

What percentage of 2nd round picks make it to the NHL? Something like 35%

Is this a joke? Bellows has no where near a 2nd or more value. Like you said he’s 24 and has done nothing at the nhl level. The chances of him becoming a staple on any nhl team is significantly diminished. It’s not close. He’s a depth player, sharks want a 2nd for Reimer. A depth player has never been worth a 2nd.

Varly isn’t close to warranting that imo. Hague or the 3rds. You don’t get both

Yeah seems like I am undervaluing Hague based on a-lot of these responses.
