Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

This is my roster for when the isles end up signing kadri
Not the biggest fan of signing a 32 year old but hes a great player and will be a great needed addition

Also i dont see bailey getting traded but it has to happen in order for the isles to sign kadri

1st line: Why isnt Barzal a winger and not center... hes not great at faceoffs. Kadri to this line will add much needed defense too. I believe lambert will play wally and give him top line minutes, wally has potential. If wally ends up not working out i could see palmeri moving switching with wally.

2nd line: great 2nd line they were red hot while they played last year, kinda slowed down towards the end last year but theres no point in breaking them up.

3rd line: also a great line, an older line but much experience and a tough defensive line with great offense upside.

4th line: classic 4th, probably the last season of this line. I hope they play Johnston in there a lot more this year. Johnston is a much faster better and more offensive matt martin, and has a future on this line.

Defense

1st: no reason to split the #1 defensive pairing in the nhl

2nd: wow! Dobson and romanov amazing offensive line. Future 1st line potential. I dont see dobson getting payed too much just yet so thats why i did the 4x4. He had an incredible season last year but that was just one season. Romanov will get a 2x2 bridge deal, he will grow into an elite defenseman.

3rd line: salo mayfeild. Now that trotz is gone I see salo getting in a lot more. Mayfeilds probably last year with the isles because of his bigger contract he'll get next year. Nothing amazing about this line. But nothing bad about this line. Good 3rd pairing.
