Description

In theory the Golden Knights should be a playoff team. They dealed with a lot of injuries last season and when healthy, they are a potential contender. I just have a feeling jack Eichel will continue to not see any post-season play. The way Vegas has been desperately trying to win a Cup seems like it would backfire massively. I expect them to just miss the playoffs once again.

I kinda doubt they'll miss the playoffs again next year but I wish more teams would try to desperately win like Vegas. It's cool when teams do crazy stuff to go for it. Even cooler when they win. Even funnier when it backfires

At least with Eichel/Pierangelo/Theodore/Lehner/Stone locked up long term they have multiple kicks too. Not like they loaded up for one year for one shot like CBJ did that one year (which, to be clear, was also cool)

Call me crazy, but if he’s fully healthy and recovered, this is the year he breaks out with 90-100 points. Stone will break 85 points as well.

Stone I'm pretty sure is still not 100% healthy and could miss time once again. Eichel I honestly have no idea what to expect.

I don't think it's the curse of Eichel, its the curse of them always making future headaches for themselves when you know there's cheaper ways to fill those needs, like why trade for Dadonov in the first place? They really didn't need a winger at that point. Why sign Martinez? He was 34 FFS, that's an insane contract to be handing out when you've already got Pietrangelo and Theodore to anchor the backend, just throw whoever with those two.
