Some of these line will be ineffective. A lot of pure goal scorers in the forward core, yet you lack playmakers. Every Matthews need his Marner, and what not. You might score the most goals, but you probably allow the most goals as well.

Draisaitl is both. He's a top-3 goal scorer and a top-3 playmaker.

I'm struggling to see the link between the lack of playmakers and allowing a lot of goals though.

Too many scorers, not enough playmakers imo. Won’t score without the Crosby, McDavid’s, Huberdeau’s and Backstrom’s of the world.
