This pretty good start banks on getting back to back first overall picks but I guess could possibly happen. Getting Bedard and Kiviharju would be unreal.

I expect/hope one of their 2nd-7th round picks over the next few years can turn into at least a 3rd liner. Mix in those other first round picks like you said. I’d take Soderblom for backup. Possibly a high end free agency forward signing when the time is right. It will take some time but it can be done. Stick to the process and develop your players right.

At worst, I expect them to get Fantilli who’s still a future elite 1C

Good point. If they draft top 3 this year, no matter who they get is a true top end talent. I can already imagine the memes of the hawks tanking and not getting Bedard. But if they get Fantilli it’s still a win.

I even think Benson , Yager and Carlsson are top line players with the last 2 being centres

I'm not a chicago fan but from an outsider the Korchinski pick looks like a great pick. Absolutely love the way that guy skates and seems like such a smart player. He never seems to panic or make the stupid high risk play. Not really sure who he reminds me of but potentially has the upside of someone like Heiskanen??

Would be so hard to pass on a guy who can skate so well.

I'm an oilers fan and that is what i'm holding hope for on Broberg. He has defensive laps's but the man can skate like a gazelle so hoping he can figure the rest of it out
